Author Study Series Was a Hit!
This Tuesday, our library kicked off the first of FOUR author studies, and it was an exciting morning! Each session in the series is hosted by Kwame Alexander, who brings in a lineup of amazing guest authors to present our students with a truly excellent experience.

Students who attended spent Flex and 2nd period in the library meeting real authors, hearing their stories, and getting inspired. Who knows, the next great author might be sitting in our very own library!

There are three more author studies to come! Keep an eye out for upcoming dates, and encourage your student to grab a spot early, space is limited to 45 students per session, and these are mornings they won't want to miss.

Check Those Grades

With the quarter mark just around the corner, teachers will soon be updating grades for progress reporting. Now is the perfect time for students and parents to sit down together and check current grades on the GradeWay app or in Home Access Center online, before the quarter-end rush. Catching a missing assignment or two now can make all the difference, and teachers are always happy to answer questions while there's still time to act.

A few minutes together looking at grades now can turn into a strong finish to the quarter!

Warmly,

Laura Clark

We Need Your Help — Share Our Snap!Raise Link! -Repeat

Necesitamos su Ayuda - ¡Comparta nuestro enlace Snap! Raise!

Families, our lap-a-thon fundraiser is in its final stretch, and we need your help to cross the finish line. We're currently about a quarter of the way to our goal, and with just under two weeks left, every share counts.

Here's where you come in — it takes less than a minute:
  • Post the Snap!Raise link on your social media (Facebook, Instagram, Nextdoor — wherever your people are). Grandparents, aunts, uncles, coworkers, and far-away friends often love an easy way to support their favorite student.
  • Text the link to family and friends. A quick message like "Our school is raising money through a lap-a-thon — any support helps!" goes a long way.

Donations of every size add up, and sharing is completely free. If each family sent the link to just five people, we'd be amazed at what we could accomplish together.

Thank you for being part of Team Lincoln — let's finish strong!

Growing Together with Technology

As our students grow, so do their technology privileges and responsibilities — a great opportunity for families to grow together, too! Navigating technology as a family helps build trust, understanding, and healthy habits that serve students well now and in the future.

Each week, I'll be posting 2 to 3 questions for parents to consider discussing with their teens, opening the door for meaningful conversations about safe and responsible technology use.

Here are this week's family questions:
  1. What is one thing you wish you could always feel calm about?

  2. What role does anxiety play in your life? Is there anything I can do to help you manage it?
