Athletics Overview

Sports Physical night will be August 12th 6:00pm-7:30pm at CGHS. Cost will be $25.00. Please bring the copy to Gyna at LMS for any sports your athlete will be playing for the year.
Fall Sport sign ups are open on familyid.com for 7/8th Grade Girls Volleyball, 6-8th Grade Boys Football and 5-8th Grade Cross Country. Practices start August 24th and practice times will be on familyid.com when available.
Sports Physicals: Our district requires every athlete to have a current sports physical in order to be cleared for athletics. Repeat physicals are required every 2 years. INCOMING new 5th and 6th GRADERS WILL NEED A NEW PHYSICAL BEFORE BEING CLEARED. If your athlete has already played an LMS sport last year the current physical is good for 2 years. Physicals must be on a state mandated form, completed and signed by a physician, and turned into the athletic office before athletes will be cleared for practice. NO EXCEPTIONS.

All athletes must have insurance coverage in order to participate in sports. If you do not have health insurance, South Lane School District will be offering affordable insurance through Myers-Stevens & Toohey Co, Inc. You can go to https://www.myers-stevens.com/enrollment-page/ to see plans.
